Bhutte ka Kees
Ingredients:
2 cups fresh corn kernels (grated or crushed)
2 tbsp oil or ghee
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 green chili, finely chopped
1 tsp ginger, grated
½ tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
½ cup milk
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp grated coconut (optional)
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions:
Prepare corn: Grate or grind the corn coarsely in a mixer.
Heat oil: Heat oil or ghee in a pan. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
Sauté spices: Add green chili and ginger. Sauté for a few seconds.
Cook corn: Add grated corn, turmeric, and salt. Mix well and cook for 4–5 minutes.
Add milk: Pour in milk and cook on low heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens and the corn is cooked.
Finish: Turn off heat and add lemon juice.
Serve: Garnish with grated coconut and coriander. Serve warm.
